So I did, well green eggs and bacon.
Went to Costco yesterday as part of my plastic free mission. Buying in bulk does help cut down on packaging but only a little, everything still comes in plastic, but at least I got less of it. I think....
Made this for dinner last night. I nixed the apples and changed it around a little bit, served it over left over spaghetti squash. Was a good starting point though. Kids really liked it. I will make it again (my version). Next time I will remember to mix the cornstarch with water first.
I also started with Foster Farms Cutlets, pre-packaged.

Made these awesome dinosaur valentines with the kids. Got the mold from Amazon.com and the cards from an online learning site. We make Valentine's every year. I would so much rather spend that time with my kids then buy something at a store no matter how busy I am with other things.
We have made the muffin tin crayons before, you can see my earlier post about that.
I confess tho, one of my FB friends posted that she made the crayons with her kids. I just took it one step further.
